Kathleen Marie White
(nee Gwin), age 69, of Fairlawn, passed away peacefully Sunday, November 5, 2023.
She was born September 17, 1954, in Alliance, OH to Joseph and Jean (nee Weaver) Gwin. Kathy graduated from Alliance High School and continued her education to become a Respiratory Therapist. Her career began at Alliance City Hospital where she showed great dedication and care for her patients. She continued on to Lima Memorial Hospital, and then to Wadsworth Rittman Hospital where she spent the remaining years of her career.
Kathy was always ready for an adventure, especially ones that were outdoors and involved riding bikes, hiking with her faithful cocker spaniel Rylee, and walking the beach. She enjoyed baking cookies and sharing them with those she loved. She created the best memories with her friends and family through sharing moments of laughter and joy.
Kathy made everyone’s world a better place with her big heart, kindness, and thoughtfulness. Her love for a good conversation created many happy memories with those she cherished. Her selflessness and love will never be forgotten. We will forever remember those moments and her contagious laughter.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, George Gwin.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Thomas White; cherished sons and their wives, Ryan (Nina) White, and Nicholas (Katie) White; treasured grandchildren Connor, Peyton, and Parker; and many beloved nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
