Kenneth V. Wilson Jr., age 51, passed away on 9/20/16 after a courageous battle against cancer.
He leaves behind John J. Sivo, his partner of 23 years, and best friend Jamie Ripley, who cared
for him in his final illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Delores and Kenneth V.
Wilson Sr. and brother, Ron Hurless. He is survived by his brother, Jim (Nancy) Hurless, sisters,
Carmella (Jason) Oszust and Kathy Wilson- Mortimer, niece, Veronica and nephews, Tommy and
Brandon as well as a loving and supportive extended family and friends too extensive to list.
Friends may call from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on SATURDAY, October 1st at the Billow FAIRLAWN
Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., service immediately following at 3:00 p.m. with Lori Fatchet- McGee
officiating. After the service, family and close friends are invited to break bread at 1270 Magnolia
Ave., Akron, OH 44310. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to VNS Justin T.
Rogers Hospice care facility, in c/o AGMC Foundation, One Akron General Ave., Akron, OH
