Kevin Thomas Sweeney, 57, left this life February 2, 2012.
A kind and gentle man, he was also an adventurer who enjoyed travelling all over the world. He had a love for sports, both as a spectator and a participant, and was an eternal Browns' fan. Although he lived life to the fullest, he could always be counted upon to help anyone in need. Always an advocate for the underdog and never too busy to give of his time, from the youngest to the oldest, his kindness touched many. This unique and multi-faceted former teacher, physician's assistant, and coach, also enjoyed gardening, was an accomplished musician and will be missed by all whose lives he touched.
In addition to his medical and educational achievements, he attained the top position as leader of the Pro Leisure Tour, as voted on by many of his peers.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Sweeney and his mother, Mary Yanko Sweeney. He is survived by his sister, Kendra St. Charles and brother, Keith(Marianne) Sweeney; nephew, Robert Sweeney; niece, Tracy St. Charles Pittello (Joseph, Jr.); and great nephews who adored him, Christopher Pittello and Luca Pittello.
