Laura T. Hardy, age 57, passed away on Thursday, September 27, 2018. She was a small bowel transplant survivor of 13 years.
Laura was born July 19, 1961, in Akron, OH, to George Edwin "Ed" Jr. and Sandra (Hartman) Pollard. She was a 1979 graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School and worked at Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company for 35 years. Laura spent her life caring for her two sons, Marcus and Tyler, whom she loved deeply.
She is survived by her mother, Sandra; brothers, Michael, Jeffery and Bradley Pollard; sons, Marcus (Jessica) and Tyler (Kaitlyn) Hardy; granddaughter, Rhylan Hardy; nieces, Jessica Thomas and Danielle Engleman; and nephews, Eli and Ethan Pollard and Brandyn King. She is preceded by her father, Ed; and sister, Jennifer Thomas.
The family will hold a private ceremony to remember Laura; a daughter, sister and most of all, a loving mother and grandmother.
