Leandrea K Cesarow

November 4, 1966 — February 7, 2023

Leandrea K. Cesarow , devoted Mother, Daughter, Sister, Aunt, Friend and Life-time Partner passed away peacefully surrounded by loved-ones on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at the young age of 56 after a courageous battle with cancer.  She fought the fight with utmost strength and dignity.

Leanne was born in Pittsburgh, PA on November 4, 1966 to Parents William and Janet.  She graduated from Copley High School in 1985.  After high school, Leanne traveled to California and worked as a Sales Consultant on Rodeo Drive in Hollywood.  She eventually moved back to Northeast Ohio and worked in Computer Services for Roadway Express in Akron, OH.  For the past 17 years, she worked as an Administrative Assistant for BDO USA, LLP (formerly SS&G Financial Services).  She developed many friendships and a special Work Family who adored her fun-loving and full-of-life energy that would light up any room.  Her infectious personality and selflessness allowed her to magically become an instant family member of every life she touched.

Leanne enjoyed her work, spending time with family, golfing, gardening, a sandy beach, being pool-side and simply enjoying the sunshine and fresh air of the outdoors.  She loved to travel, whether it be long trips, weekend getaways or spontaneous day trips.  A walk on the beach usually turned into a shelling excursion.

An avid, self-taught golfer – her natural talent led her straight down every fairway and eventually to a celebratory “hole-in-one” on the Speidel Trent Jones Course at Oglebay Resort – one of her favorite golf getaway locations.  Also, one could usually find her playing a late-evening “Quick-9” at Tannenhauf Golf Club or any local course.

Leanne is survived by her loving son, Ryan (Megan) Cesarow of Stow, OH; mother Janet Stewart of Mars, PA; sister Janet (Bill) Weishampel of Naples, FL; brothers Ted (Kitty) Cesarow of Brunswick, OH and Milton Cesarow of Copley, OH.  She is also survived by sisters-in-law Debbie (Jeff) Jenior of Canton, OH, Deanna (Phil) Milat of Alliance, OH and mother-in-law Patty Brookover of Atwater, OH.  Nieces and Nephews include:  Bob Weishampel, Billy Weishampel, Janessa Weishampel, Dawn Milat and Eric Jenior.

She shared a very special relationship with her partner and best “Buddy” of 26 years, Jeff Brookover of Atwater, OH.  From the onset they formed a once-in-a-lifetime ‘Buddy Team’ bond.  Those many daily routines, traditions and light-hearted shenanigans will be deeply missed.  She’ll always be his best “Buddie”!

Leanne was preceded in death by her father, William Cesarow.

Friends and family will be received Monday, February 13, 2023 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Billow Funeral Home – Fairlawn Chapel, 85 N. Miller Road, Fairlawn, OH.  Funeral service will be held 11:00 am, Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at the Funeral Home with Deacon Paul Woodard officiating.  Funeral procession and interment will follow at Atwater Cemetery.

Per Leanne’s request, in lieu of “fresh-cut” flowers, she asked that everyone plant purple, pink and frosty blue-flowered perennials around their place of residence in her memory.
