Leona V. Betts, 97, died October 18, 2009.
Born in Lewisville, Ohio, she was a longtime resident of Copley. She was a homemaker and member of the Copley Senior Citizens and the Montrose Zion United Methodist Church.
Preceded in death by her husband, Guy in 1973; she is survived by her daughters, Janice Jim Brock, Karen Dennis Richards and Debra Jim Fearing; grandchildren, Terry Denise Brock, Christopher Maren Fearing, Jennifer Fearing and Kyra Richards; sister, Rose Studer.
Services will be held 11 a.m. TUESDAY at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., with Rev. Dr. Walter S. Chisholm officiating. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home TODAY 5 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be made to Montrose Zion United Methodist Church, 565 N. Cleveland-Massillon Rd., Akron 44333 or Hospice of V.N.S., 3358 Ridgewood Rd., Akron 44333.
