Letitia "Letty" R. Holden
Letitia "Letty" R. Holden, 81, passed away July 4, 2009.
Born in Akron, she lived here all of her life. She was a graduate of Old Trail School and Dennison University. Letty was a member of the First Congregational Church of Akron, Akron Garden Club, Diggers and Weeders, Western Reserve Academy Mom"s Club, Junior League of Akron, and the Past President of the Women"s Board at Children"s Hospital.
Preceded in death by her parents, William and Catharine Roderick; brother-in-law, Peter E.G. Dobbs; she is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Joseph M.; sons, Joseph R. Donna Holden, William W. Kim Holden; grandchildren, Amanda Holden, Allison Holden, Jennifer Holden; brother, William G. Kathy Roderick; sister, Joan R. Dobbs; and many other loving relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., Akron with Dr. Jay Marshall Groat officiating. Private Burial at Rose Hill Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Akron Children"s Hospital or a charity of one"s choice.
