Lillian M. Kalman Lillian M. Kalman, 89, went peacefully home to be with her Lord on October 1, 2011. Born in Akron, Ohio on April 2, 1922, she lived in the Akron area all her life. She graduated from West High School and started a full-time job with Goodyear Bank where she became the private secretary to the bank president. Upon her retirement from the bank in 1980 after forty years of service, she focused on the care of her mother, Helen. In her later years, Lillian recognized her need for a Savior and was baptized October 29, 1989 at Vesper Lake Apostolic Christian Church now Lakeside Christian Church. Lillian was an avid tennis player and enthusiastically supported Ohio sports teams such as Cleveland Browns and Indians and Ohio State Buckeyes. Preceded in death by her parents, Wendel and Helen Kalman; sisters, Helen Kalman and Lydia Wenhardt; and brothers, Edward, Robert, Alfred and Elmer Cal Kalman; she is survived by her twin brother, Louis special friend, Janie and brother, Richard Branka Kalman; and many loving relatives. Services will be held 5 p.m. Saturday, October 22 at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Road. Private interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
