Born in Deer Creek, Iowa, she was a resident of Akron since 2002.
Preceded in death by her husband, Arthur William Jacobs, she is survived by children, Marian Garth McHenry of Akron, Eugene Delores Jacobs of Spokane, Wash., Grace Ritzenberg of Berryville, Va.; six grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Services will be held on Monday, September 22nd at Gunderson Funeral Home, Ft. Dodge, Iowa. Interment at Deer Creek Lutheran Cemetery. The family wishes to give special thanks to the staff at the Village at St. Edward.
