Linda had so many wonderful qualities it is hard to know where to start.
She always considered herself a country girl...meaning she knew the difference between a chipmunk and a squirrel, etc. She could spot a deer off road half a mile away. She once spotted a mountain goat so far away I needed binoculars to find it.
Linda was a meticulous planner. She arranged our vacations with a precision that travel agents coveted.
She organized vacations to all but five of the United States. We visited over 330 lighthouses on the east coast, west coast and north coast. That was possible because she researched the exact location of each.
And Linda never met a stranger, anywhere.
She earned a living with Allstate Insurance of Hudson Ohio. Ask anyone who knew her at Allstate, you will hear that Linda was a breath of fresh air, a shining light.
She was always thinking about her children and grandchildren. During the two years of her battle with cancer, I know her most cherished times were when she was with her children and grandchildren.
She treated my children and grandchildren as closely as she knew how as if they were her own.
The second of my granddaughters, Evelyn (6 yrs old), asked that she be allowed to see Linda’s casket lowered into the grave. She was.
She is now with the Lord Jesus’ eternal church and served the Northwest Ave. Church of Christ while still among us. We all loved Linda very much.
