Lisa Renee Chuma Drasny
During life's journey we are blessed to know special people that touch our hearts. My daughter, Lisa Drasny Chuma, was one of those people.

On May 11, 2009, Lisa said her final goodbye to those that loved her with the same strength and courage she exhibited in life. Her five year battle with cancer was fought with dignity, faith, hope and love. Her determination, positive attitude and loving spirit were remarkable. As her suffering intensified, she continued to manage a smile, a wink and a spirit of acceptance. She will always be my hero.

Preceded in death by grandparents, George and Clara Watson and Joseph and Mildred Drasny, Lisa is survived by loving and most precious children, Nicole and Nicholas Chuma; devoted mother, Cheri L. Drasny; father, Jerry B. Drazny Eve; brother, Jerry B. Drazny Holly; sisters, Arryane A. McPipkin Gregory and Melissa Drazny; special cousins, Sharon A. Young David and Johanna LaVelle; dearest friend and confidant, Alayna Warrington; and very special friend and supporter, John W. Grimm.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Rose Lane Skilled Nursing Facility for the exceptional care given to Lisa. Their genuine affection and concern will never be forgotten.

Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. SATURDAY at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, 755 N. Cleveland Ave., Mogadore 44260, with Fr. Nicholas Wyslutsky officiating. Interment at Chestnut Hill Memorial Park. Friends may call at the church 5 to 8 p.m. FRIDAY, where the Parastas will take place at 7:30 p.m., and one hour prior to the service Saturday at church. For my darling Lisa:

Daughters are like morning light christening the day

Daughters are like April rain gently touching May

Daughters are like brilliant stars lighting up the night

Daughters are like eagles wings waiting to take flight

Daughters are like precious gems more valuable than gold

Daughters are the memories our hearts will always hold. I love you, Mom
