Lloyd Alan Broggini

Lloyd Alan Broggini, 63 of Akron, passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2020. He was born in Akron on April 25, 1957 to the late Kenneth A. and Grace N. (Pidwell) Broggini. He was a graduate of Copley High School - 1975 and went on to earn two Bachelor of Science degrees in Accounting and Computer Science from the University of Akron. Lloyd has worked as a Senior Systems Analyst at Akron Children’s Hospital for the past 11 years. Lloyd loved to spend time reading, working with his flowers, hiking in the Akron Metroparks, and helping people. Lloyd leaves his sister and brother-in-law Grace and Jerry Haas; brother and sister-in-law Roger and Lynette Broggini, nephews Brad ( Laura) Haas and Andrew Broggini; nieces, Andrea Haas and Kayla Broggini; aunt Mary Louise Broggini; special friends Michelle, Jacob and Anne Ringler, his cat Sparky, in addition to many cousins and extended family. In honoring Lloyd’s wishes, he will be cremated and graveside services will be held at a later date at Glendale Cemetery. Memorial Services will be Friday, December 18, 2020 at 1pm on Facebook. Please search Eric Kluth - Pastor of the Mogadore United Methodist Church. The service will be on facebook live due to the COVID protocol. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to The Akron Children’s Hospital or the Akron Canton Regional Food Bank. Both organizations were very important to Lloyd.
