Born March 30, 1937 in Huritt , West Virginia, her hobbies were cooking for her family and yard sales.
She is survived by her sons, Roger Hicks Sandra of Akron, Rick Hicks Fay of Camden, Tennessee, Kenny Hicks of Akron; sister, Faye of North Carolina; brothers, Tilden Elkins and Harry Elkins of Florida; grandchildren, Christopher Hicks Donna, Adam Hicks Gretchelly, Kenny Hicks, and Jonathan Hicks; great-grand-children, Dominick and Taylor Hicks; many nieces and nephews; companion, her dog Scruffy; and good friends, Pat Dorian and Jesse Hicks. She was preceded in death by father, Ermal Elkins; mother, Mary Elkins; husbands, William George and Horace Puett.
Friends may call at the Billow LAKES Chapel, 472 W. Turkeyfoot Lake Road, SUNDAY from 2 to 4 p.m. Burial will take place on Monday at East Liberty Cemetery where a private memorial will take place for family and close friends. Billow LAKES Chapel
