Lorraine Fellenbaum, 87, went to be with our Heavenly Father on January 25, 2010.
Our beloved mother is survived by son, Ronald L. Fellenbaum of Dahlongea, Georgia and daughters, Violet Park Gary of Uniontown, Ohio and Laura Corbett Thomas of Copley, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Leroy Fellenbaum; sisters, Louise Myers, Charlene Bowen; and brother, William Beaver.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Ronald Fellenbaum Jenny of Ball Ground, Ga., Tammy Crowel of Dahlongea, Ga., and Sheri Turley Lanier of Adairsville, Ga.; locally, grandsons, Thomas L. Corbett Shannon of Seville, Ohio, Brian L. Park of Akron, Ohio and Aaron R. Park Samantha of Euclid, Ohio. Additionally, she leaves behind, nine great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends, as well as her sister, Delores Chandler of Warren, Ohio; sister-in-law, Linda Beaver of Cuyahoga Falls; brother-in-law, Frank Myers Anita of Akron.
Lorraine was a member of First Evangelical Congregational Church of Akron, Ohio for over 40 years. She was born in Suit, N.C., but lived all of her adult life in Akron. During World War II she worked at the American Anode with her sister Louise and friends. More recently she lived at Lorantffy Care Center where she had many friends. She will be sadly missed for her sweetness, kindness and love that she always showed to others.
Services will be held 1 p.m. FRIDAY, January 29th at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., with Rev. Scott Carr officiating. Burial at Rose Hill Burial Park in Fairlawn, Ohio. Family and friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lorantffy Care Center, 2631 Copley Rd., Copley, OH 44321.
