Louise Marie Altwegg Ruyten, 80, died January 3, 2011.
Louise was born on January 24, 1930 to Marie and Albert Altwegg of Tallmadge, Ohio. She was a native of Brimfield, Ohio, living many years in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.
Her husband, William Harrison Digby, preceded her in death. After marrying Harry Ruyten of Twinsburg, Ohio, Louise moved to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Harry Ruyten also preceded Louise in death. She resided in Myrtle Beach until 2007, when she returned to Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. While residing in Cuyahoga Falls, Louise was a member of Northminster Presbyterian Church. After moving to Myrtle Beach, Louise was an active member of Ocean Drive Presbyterian Church.
Louise is survived by her children, Connie Hriczik of Brunswick, Ohio, and Bruce Christine Digby of Grayson, Ga.; grandchildren, Megan Hriczik, Brooke Digby, Drew Digby and stepchildren John, Joe, and Peggy Ruyten. She is also survived by Jean and Herb Freyman of Tallmadge, Ohio. Louise will be dearly missed by all, and will be remembered always.
Services will be held 11 a.m. WEDNESDAY at the Billow FALLS Chapel, 1907 23rd St., with Rev. Stephanie Crossland officiating. Interment at Northlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Hospice Care Center, 3358 Ridgewood Rd., Akron, OH 44333.
