Louise B. Talbott nee Simballa, 81, passed away October 20, 2008 after a long illness.
Louise was born October 21, 1926 in East Liverpool, Ohio to Henry and Nellie Simballa. She graduated from West High School and married John Talbott May 29, 1948. She retired from the advertising department of Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company with 25 years of service. She lived most of her life in Manchester before moving to Barberton two years ago.
Louise loved her family and especially enjoyed doting on her grandsons, Steven and Brian. She also enjoyed doing water aerobics and going out for coffee with her friends after class.
Preceded in death by brother, Burt Simballa; sister-in-law, Jane Talbott Smith; and sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Julia and John Reeves; she is survived by husband of sixty years, John; daughters, Elaine Bob Steiner, Tracy Dick Gleghorn; grandsons, Steven and Brian Steiner; sister-in-law, Maxine Simballa; brother-in-law, Joe Smith; nieces, nephews and cousins.
Special thanks are extended to the second floor staff at Summa Barberton Hospital for the care and compassion given to Louise and her family.
A memorial service will be held 7 p.m. THURSDAY at the Billow LAKES Chapel, 472 W. Turkeyfoot Lake Dr., with Pastor Terrance D. Baker officiating. Inurnment 11 a.m. Friday at Rose Hill Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 5 p.m. until service time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Life Spring Church, 1828 Marigold Ave., Akron 44301 or to The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 5000 Rockside Road, Suite 310, Independence, OH 44131.
