Louise Zimmerman

Louise H. Zimmerman, 93, passed away peacefully May 31, 2016.

She was born June 21, 1922 in Campbell, OH and lived most of her life in Cuyahoga Falls. She had worked at Goodyear Aircraft and First National Bank. A volunteer at Falls General Hospital and St. Joseph and Immaculate Heart of Mary Church and Schools, she was a member of the Crestview Garden Club, Rosary and Altar Society at Immaculate Heart of Mary and the St. Thomas Hospital Guild. A woman with a great sense of humor, she enjoyed collecting postcards and gardening, but most of all, spending time with her family and friends.

Preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles in 1993; brother, Rudy; sister, Eva; and great granddaughter, Caiti; she is survived by children, Steve (Suzann), Bob (Dee), Jan Durfee, and Roger (Sue); grandchildren, Jennifer (James) Leatherbarrow, Samantha (Jay) Manion, Chris (Andrea) Durfee, Ryan (Kristi) Durfee, Zac (Faith) Durfee and Kim and Carly Zimmerman; great grandchildren, Ty (Astrid) Hershey, Jada, Cooper, and Zoey Manion, and Cameron, Ian, and Quinn Durfee; and many other family and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Monday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church with Fr. James Singler officiating. Interment at Northlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call 2-5 p.m. Sunday at the Billow FALLS Chapel, 1907 23rd St. (corner of 23rd St. and Falls Ave.) In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 70 W.
