Lucille Beane Robinson passed away July 1, 2009 surrounded by her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Glen G. Beane; daughter, Cassandra Sandy Deskovich John; and son, Frank Beane. She is survived by her sons, Jeffrey Sharon of Tallmadge, Gerry of Lancaster, Pa.; step son, Larry of Cuyahoga Falls; sister, Irene Ross and the Robinson brothers, Clyde Lucille, George Erma, L. Jay Maryanne, Bradford Jo and Jim Charlotte. She also leaves her grandchildren, Tracy, Amy, Krissy, Jay, Tim, Wendy and Kim; and five great grandchildren.

In a family of unique personalities, none shine quite as bright as Lucille Beane. Born in Belington, W. Va. May 12, 1927, those that knew her best knew her opinions. Lucille was never afraid to express them. Lucille will be missed by many relatives and friends including those at her church, Akron"s New Hope Christian Fellowship where many called her Grandma. Lucille retired from the Firestone Tire and Rubber Co., as well as the Montgomery Ward Catalog Dept. in Cuyahoga Falls. After retiring, Lucille and Glen lived in Clearwater, Florida for many years.

A graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Friday at Chestnut Hill Memorial Park with Pastor Todd M. Tackett officiating. Friends may call at the Billow FALLS Chapel, 1907 23rd St. corner of Falls Ave. and 23rd St. TONIGHT 5 to 8 p.m. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to New Hope Christian Fellowship, 1157 Riverside Dr., Akron 44310
