Lucille Pearsall Tanner, 70, passed away Nov. 2, 2008.
She was born December 24, 1937 in Denver, Colorado to Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jeffries. Lucy was a graduate of Denver Public Schools and attended Northwestern University-Chicago and graduated from Akron University. She was the President of James Duncan Associates of Akron, Ohio and was a specialist in fund raising and public relations. Some of her local clients included the Akron Civic Theatre, Akron Blind Center, the Food Bank, East Akron Community House, Haven of Rest, Ohio Ballet and Hale Farm and Village.
Lucy is survived by her loving husband, Duncan "Bud"; sons, Albert Pearsall, M.D., Jeffrey Pearsall, Craig Pearsall, John Pearsall; and six grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 5:30 p.m. Monday, November 10, at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., Akron, with Rev. Mark W. Frey officiating. Friends may call from 4 to 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
