M. Elaine Biery, 91, died January 17, 2014.
Born March 9, 1922, in Alliance, Ohio to Fred and Isla Lauener, she attended Mount Union College and graduated from Youngstown Northside Hospital School of Nursing. Elaine was a Registered Nurse for over 50 years, working at various hospitals, private duty, and nursing homes in the Akron area.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Pete Lauener. She is survived by her four children, Michael Douglas (Linda) Biery of Windham, NH, Deborah Biery of Akron, who cared lovingly for mom these last two years, Pam (Alan) Naylor of Kansas City, Missouri, and Patricia Cole of Akron. She had seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Private services were held Saturday, January 18. Entombment at Rose Hill Burial Park. (Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel)
