Mabel Rae nee Ashworth Vogel, 84, died January 20, 2009.
Born in Buckhannon, W. Va., she lived over 60 years in Akron and was a charter member of West Hill Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by husband, Robert M.; she is survived by son, Robert Paul; daughters, Lee Ann John Terilla and Susan Jean Stansbury; grandchildren, Alex and Melissa Stansbury; sister-in-law, Thelma Russ Beahn; and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend their gratitude and appreciation for the loving care she received from the staff at Wyant Woods Care Center.
Services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., with Rev. Aaron Varner officiating. Entombment at Rose Hill Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home 1 hour before services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Haven of Rest Ministries, 175 E. Market St., Akron 44308. Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel
