Malcolm "Mel" Majarov, 97, passed away July 24, 2013.
He was born in Akron, and was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ. The owner of Major's Meats until 1970, he then went to work for Fazio's, retiring in 1983, after which he worked full time at West Point Market retiring at the age of 84.
Preceded in death by his wives, Eula Mai Majarov and Mary Pollock Majarov; brothers, Mike and Pete; sisters, Mary Livengood, Sophia Tofanelli, Clara Heit, Violet King and Harriett King; he is survived by his daughters, Elizabeth Quinn (Garry) and Melissa Graham-Hurd (Dan); grandsons, Robert Baker and Christopher Quinn; great-granddaughter, Addison Quinn; constant companion, Freckles.
Services will be held 1 p.m. MONDAY at the Billow FALLS Chapel, 1907 23rd St., with Rev. Dianne Shirey officiating. Interment at Chestnut Hill Memorial Park.
