Margaret L (Nixon) Elliott

Margaret Louise (Nixon) Elliott, 90, went to be with the Lord August 4, 2013.
A life resident of Akron, she worked at the Goodyear Airdock during WWII and retired from Fallsview in receiving in 1986. Margaret was a member of First E.C. Church in Firestone Park, the O.E.S., Fernleaf Chapter and was a Rainbow Mother Advisor.
Preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Vernon; she is survived by sons, James (Carol), Mark (Susan), Danny (Karen); daughter, Linda (Dean) Goumas; grandchildren, Amy (David) Provencal, Matthew (Karen) Elliott, Jenny (Nick) Hoffman, Christopher (Cheryl) Goumas, Kimberly (Douglas) Misener, Laura (Jason) Templeman, Meg, Erin and Joel Elliott; fourteen great-grandchildren; sisters, Florence (Howard) McLeod and Wanda Langford of Frostproof, Florida.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. FRIDAY at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., with Rev. Scott Carr officiating. Inurnment at Mt. Peace Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home THURSDAY from 4-7 p.m. (Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel)
