Margaret V. Goumas died Nov. 16, 2010.
A life resident of Akron, she was a member of Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church where she taught Sunday school over 40 years and was a member of the Philoptochos Society Melissa.
She is survived by husband, Andrew; son, Theodore; daughter, Yvonne Dave McLaughlin; and granddaughter, Alison McLaughlin.
A special thank you to The Merriman and Hospice of Summa for the loving care given to Margaret.
Service will be held 11 a.m. Friday at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, with Rev. Fr. Jerry F. Hall officiating. Interment at Rose Hill Burial Park. Friends may call 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., with a Trisagion service at 6:30 p.m. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 129 S. Union St., Akron 44304 or the Alzheimer's Association , 1815 W. Market St., #301, Akron 44313.
