Margaret A. Thomas Hellinger, 80, of Akron, entered eternal life October 7, 2016.
Marge was born in Dearborn, Mi., the daughter of Margaret and Kenneth Shingler. Marge attended the University of Michigan where she met and married Richard E. Thomas, moving to Akron, Ohio. Although her travels took her away from Akron from time to time, she called it home.
Marge worked for many years at Tangiers Restaurant, handling the booking of entertainment. During her later years Marge operated a travel company Tours N Tours. When not traveling, she enjoyed spending time with her close friends and family.
In addition to her parents, Marge was preceded in death by her husbands, Richard E. Thomas and Paul H. Hellinger. She is survived by her loving sister, Phyllis Sauser; sons, Neal (Mary) and David Thomas; grandchildren Rick and Ali Thomas; as well as her nieces and nephews and their families. Marge also leaves behind many dear friends including Arnie, Bev, Lula Mae and Winnie.
