Margaret Ann "Peggy" Jacob, age 59, passed away on Monday, October 27, 2014.
Born September 18, 1955 in Akron, she was the daughter of Robert and Marion (Barton) Montabone.
Peggy was the co-owner, along with life-long friend Carol Perry, of Hoarder's Quarters. She was a talented artist in the craft of stained glass, and her beautiful creations will be around for many to remember her by. A life-long Philanthropist, she was passionate about helping those less fortunate, especially those families to whom she was unknown and who benefited from her generosity at Christmas; she was also a volunteer at the Peter Mourin Center.
Survivors include her husband of 17 years, Robert W. "Jake" Jacob; children: Lisa Barron, Chris Barron II, and Elizabeth "Beth" Barron; grandchildren Collin Curnayn and Emmyrson Johnstone; mother Marion Montabone; brothers and sisters: Ray Lewis (Lois), Nancy Montabone, Bob Montabone (Pat), Mike Montabone (Lisa), and Mary Marotta (Mark); many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father Robert Montabone.
Friends will be received at the Billow Funeral Home, 85 N. Miller Rd. on Friday from 4-8PM where services will be held on SATURDAY at 10:00AM. Burial will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery.
