Margaret "Marjean" Moore

Margaret Jean "Marjean" Moore (Nee Wilt)
Margaret Jean "Marjean" Moore passed away peacefully May 31, 2018 at the age of 91.
Born in Akron, she resided in Cuyahoga Falls and Silver Lake. A graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School, she attended Kent State University, afterward marrying the love of her life Bill (William T.) Moore in 1946. She enjoyed dancing, music, Ohio State football, bridge club, fishing, and boating. Marjean was an avid reader and accomplished bridge player, playing marathon and duplicate bridge for many years. She enjoyed memberships at Silver Lake Country Club, and Cuyahoga Falls Women's Club. She served as president and founder of Tarry House, president of Lincoln School P.T.A., and was a longtime supporter of Cuyahoga Falls Music Association, and the Arthritis Foundation.
Preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Bill; she leaves behind her three children, Linda (John) Banasiak of Bath, Thomas D. (Rosalie) of Callawassie Island, S.C., and Patricia (Donald) Davis of Hudson; 10 grandchildren, Elizabeth Banasiak Saraceno (Nathan), Katherine (Tony) Butch, Elizabeth Moore, Katherine (Fritz) Hauschild, Emmet (Meghan) Ferriter, Conor Ferriter, William (Hillary) Lyle,
Robert (Kim) Lyle, Kenny (Brittany) Davis, Andy Davis; and 12 great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank Dr. Ross Black and Dr. Matthew Chase for their many years of care, and the staff at Laurel Lake Retirement Community, especially Linda Keller, Autumn Witherspoon, Mary Ellison, Joanna Karpinski, and Amy Carter for their care and friendship.
