Margaret Ann Steffensen

August 27, 1930 — February 6, 2013

Margaret Ann Steffensen, born August 27th, 1930, died February 6th, 2013.

Our Dear Mother has been taken home to be in Heaven with her Saviour, The Lord Jesus Christ.

Mother never knew a stranger in her life and exemplified the love of Christ to all! Her parents, the late Thomas and Eunice Wright, as well as our father Robert, all preceded her in death: Eunice in 1988; Thomas in 1992; and Robert in 2001.

Margaret leaves to mourn her passing, her three children, their spouses, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren: son, Ronald W. and his wife, Margaret Elaine Steffensen of New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, and their son, Hans C., his wife, Rachelle and their daughter, Tessa Pearl; daughter, Karen M. Matthews, her husband, Robert Vernon of Bellville, Ohio and their three daughters, Charity J. Solis, her husband, Ramon of San Antonio, Texas and their son, Kellen R. Solis, Rebekah J. Beachy, her husband, Dr. Matthew Beachy of Bellville, Ohio and their two sons, Jaden and Kade, Heidi J. Matthews-Baker and her son, Blake of Mansfield, Ohio; and son, Thomas Arthur Steffensen; and four-legged "Grand Doggy," Max.

Our Mother came to repentance and Eternal Salvation through a passage from the Gospel of John 6:37 at the age of 15 and was blessed to live to prove its veracity for over sixty more years. She had the joy and privilege of seeing all three of her children brought to Christ as Saviour and Lord, as well as all of her grandchildren and one great-grandson!

The funeral service will be 2 p.m. SATURDAY, February 9th in her local assembly building, the Akron Gospel Hall, 2705 Smith Road, Fairlawn, Ohio 44333. Entombment at Rose Hill Burial Park. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. FRIDAY at the Billow Fairlawn Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd. and ½ hour before service time Saturday at Akron Gospel Hall. Memorials may be made to the Haven of Rest Mission, 175 E. Market St., Akron, OH 44308 or any evangelical charity of choice.
