Margaret Ann 'Peggy' Kapolka

June 11, 1938 — October 16, 2024

Margaret Ann “Peggy” Kapolka went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday morning, October 16, 2024. Born in Salem, West Virginia, a daughter to the late Troy and Doris Davis. Peggy graduated from Salem College with a degree in Education, and she became an Elementary school teacher. She also met her husband of 58 years, George Kapolka, at Salem College, and they married in 1960 and lived in Parma, Ohio most of her life. Peggy and George were parents to three children and grandparents to three grandchildren and three great grandchildren who they loved dearly.

What Peggy loved most was her Lord and Savior Jesus.

She was devoted to her family. Her grandchildren were a great source of joy in her life. She was very involved in their lives and enjoyed every minute.

Peggy was a treasured friend to many. She has deep friendships that go back many years and newer friendships she made at Copley Place Independent living, She was known for encouraging many in their faith, her thoughtful ways, kindness, and just being fun.

Predeceased by her parents; her husband, George Kapolka; and her three siblings, Ken Davis, Rosalee Davis, and Charles Davis; Peggy is survived by daughter, Pam (Tim) Knight; sons Craig (Tanya) and Jeff (Amanda) Kapolka; grandchildren, Kyle (Katey) Kapolka, Jaclyn (Cullen) Westerfield, and Justin (Gaby) Knight; great-grandchildren, Julian Kapolka, Myles Knight, and Jameson Westerfield; and a host of dear family and friends.

A memorial service in Peggy’s honor will be conducted at 11:00 am on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at Parkside Green Church located at 4520 S. Arlington Road, Uniontown, OH 44685. The family will receive condolences from 9:30 am to 11:00 am on Tuesday at the church prior to the memorial service.
