Maria Hassler, 84, passed away April 23, 2013.
Born in Hungary, she lived in the Akron area since 1950. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and the German Family Society where she was a member of the Harmonie Singers.
Preceded in death by husband, Martin; she is survived by sons, Stephen (Jennifer) of Leawood, Kansas and Richard of Columbus; and grandson, Gregory.
Services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., with Rev. Joshua A. Schoon officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home 6-8 p.m. Friday.
