Marie Pack

April 5, 1941 — February 8, 2021

Marie Pack went home to be with the Lord February 8, 2021. She was a longtime member of Lighthouse Baptist Church of Wadsworth. She loved animals, music, singing in her church choir and playing the piano as well as the organ. She was a skilled cake decorator, roller skater, cook, baker, ceramics painter and gardener who loved flowers. Marie was a banker for 35 years. She also worked with her husband at their business for over 25 years. She was personable and never met a stranger. Marie was an overcomer who loved a challenge. After a debilitating accident back in 1996 that left her a paraplegic, she went back to work in phone sales. It was perfect since she loved to talk and sell. Being that she was a people person, she then worked at Walmart as a greeter. A job she truly loved. Despite everything she always had a smile on her face. She was a strong willed, strong minded Christian who loved the Lord. She always gave him the praise and glory for all of her strength and achievements. Marie was a wonderful, dedicated wife, mother, and a true friend. Her smile, laughter, beautiful eyes, and personality will be greatly missed. She made an impact on everyone’s life that she touched. Words will never be able to describe how proud we are of her and all she accomplished. She is now celebrating in glory with Jesus for eternity and has great peace. Enjoy mom, you greatly deserve it. Preceded in death by her loving husband, Darlo Pack. She is survived by her daughter, Eileen (Dave) Hines; grandchildren, Sherry (Kip) Fiocca and David (Michelle) Hines and 7 great grandchildren. Funeral service will be on Wednesday February 17, 2021 at 11:30 AM at Billow Funeral Home 85 N. Miller Rd. Fairlawn, Ohio 44333 with Pastor Linden Orr officiating. Family and friends may visit on Tuesday February 16, 2021 from 3-7 PM at the funeral home. We ask that you follow all Covid guidelines. Burial will take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio.
