Marilyn L. Sain, age 85, passed away Tuesday November 11, 2014.
Marilyn Louise Sain, 85, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter and sister went Home to the Lord after a brief illness on November 11, 2014.
Born in 1929 in Akron, she was a graduate of Buchtel High School. Graduated from the University of Akron College of Nursing. Worked at St. Thomas Hospital (Akron) and Visiting Nurse Services. A life-long parishioner of St. Sebastian Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by husband Raymond, and sons David and Christian, and her parents Charles J. and Sara E. Huggans. Surviving children are Lisa (Robert) Shoman, Gregory Sain, Julie (Garland) Stout, Jeffrey (Maria) Sain, and Douglas (Kimberly) Sain. Also survived by grandchildren Brian (Stephanie) Shoman, Kimberly (Ryan) Sherrer, Victoria and Elizabeth Sain, Zachary and Tyler Sain, and great grandchildren Cooper Shoman, and Nicholas and Alexander Sherrer. Survived also by sister Suzanne Ferron.
Mass of Christian burial will be Saturday, November 15th at 11 A.M. at St. Sebastian Catholic Church (Akron). Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Calling hours Friday, November 14th from 4-7 P.M. at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd.
