Mark K Darulis

Mark K. Darulis , age 68, passed away May 19, 2024 in San Diego, California.  He was born on June 23, 1955 in Akron, OH but had spent many years in California, most recently in the San Diego area where he had a home.  Mark was pre-deceased by his parents, William and Evelyn Darulis.  He is survived by his brother David and sister-in-law, Sarah Darulis of Eastport, Maine along with his cousin, Joseph DiMascio of Lehigh Acres, Florida.

Mark’s overriding passion was his concern and love for animals.  He did whatever he could for them and supported their well-being and compassionate treatment.  Over the years, he adopted and cared for many otherwise cast off and neglected dogs and cats.  To the animal kingdom he was a true friend.

Services are private.  Interment at Rose Hill Burial Park, Akron, OH.
