Mark Anthony Feeney
Mark Anthony Feeney, 44, passed away September 12th surrounded by family and friends after a long illness. Mark graduated from Stow High School, attended the University of Akron and was currently self-employed. He loved muscle cars, 80's hair, metal music and enjoyed watching classic TV sitcoms with his son Justin. Justin was his little buddy.
Preceded in death by his stepfather, Earl Feeney; he is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Meredith; son, Justin; mother, Elizabeth Gerhart Feeney; stepfather, Larry Gazdik (Maureen); father, David Steele (Donna); brother, Patrick Feeney; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jeffrey and Freya Marchand; sister-in-law, Hilary Marchand; brother-in- law, John Marchand (Tricia); nephews, Isiah and August; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family would like to thank all of the wonderful care provided by University Hospital, Dr. Cohen and his staff, especially Colleen Eckhardt, Dr. John Petrus, Dr. Scott Mabee, and nurses Jaquetta, Dawn, Nicole and Chrissy.
Friends may call 2-5 p.m. SUNDAY at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Road. Private interment at Wooster Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Visiting Nurse Service, c/o Akron General Foundation, 400 Wabash Ave. Akron, OH 44307 or a charity of your choice. (Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel)
