Martha J. Dunn, 88, passed away peacefully at her daughter's home December 23, 2015 surrounded by family. Her smile, fun spirit, and loving heart will be missed however treasured in our hearts forever.
Born in Akron September 20, 1927 to Gerald A. and Katherine I. Frasher Wiley, she was a graduate of the University of Akron and president of Phi Mu. Martha loved sewing, floral arranging, reading and baseball! She was a member of the First Congregational Church of Akron and had volunteered at Akron General Medical Center and Hospice. She was a retired teacher from St. Vincent/St. Mary High School with 38 years of dedicated service.
Preceded in death by her parents; husband, William E. Dunn; daughter, Kathy Dunn and brother, Kenneth Wiley; she is survived by her daughter, Tammy Jarvis (Jerry) of Virginia Beach; grandchildren, Joshua, Ashley and Courtney Jarvis; great grandchildren, Noah and Ava; and brother, James Wiley of Akron.
Services were private. Interment was at Rose Hill Burial Park. Memorials may be made to the First Congregational Church of Akron, 292 E. Market St., Akron, Ohio 44308.
