Mary-Jo Bohnert, 54, died unexpectedly May 12, 2013, one week after being diagnosed with cancer.
A graduate of Garfield High School in 1976, she retired from the City of Akron with 33 years service.
She leaves behind Henry, her husband of 26 years; loving son and daughter, Adam and Katie (Jake) Bohnert; mom and dad, Josephine and Jim Caughron; sisters, Carol and Marlene Caughron; brother, Joe (Marie) Carron; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Frank and Theresa Bohnert, sister-in-law, Laura Bohnert; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
At her request, there are no services or calling hours. Memorials in her name may be made to the Human Society of Greater Akron, 7996 Darrow Rd., Twinsburg, OH 44087.
