Mary Ann Brislin

Mary Ann (White) Brislin, 84, died on January 28, 2017 at Concordia at Sumner, Copley, Ohio, with her husband of nearly 49 years, Edward J. Brislin, at her side.

Mary Ann was born in Lakewood, Ohio to Robert G. and Bernadette (Hart) White. Mary Ann attended St. Augustine Academy in Lakewood, Ohio before attending Notre Dame College, Cleveland, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree. For the next 15 years, Mary Ann taught mostly 1st grade in the Bay Village School District, Ohio. After marrying in 1968, Mary Ann and Edward lived in both Richfield, Ohio and Orange, California. Mary Ann enjoyed everything about horses and reading 20th century history. Her optimism and positive attitude was infectious. She will be missed by many.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. THURSDAY, February 9, 2017 at St. Victor Catholic Church, 3435 Everett Rd., Richfield, OH 44286. Mary Ann will be buried with her extended family in Oakland, Maryland. Because of the military service of Mary Ann's cousins, she was a lifetime supporter of the Disabled American Veterans.
