In Loving Memory of Mary Louise Broggini

Mary Louise Broggini, born on November 1, 1932, peacefully departed from this world on December 21, 2023. She was the cherished daughter of Clarissa Louise (Proper) and John Ray Lang. Mary's beloved husband, James W. Broggini, preceded her in death, marking the end of a lifetime filled with shared joys of travel and enduring love.

Mary was a devoted member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, where she served for 39 years as the Financial Secretary. Her commitment to the church extended beyond her professional role, as she was also a charter member of St. Paul's Needlework Guild, showcasing her passion for the craft and her creative spirit. In addition, Mary served as a committee member for the annual Holiday Tree Festival of Akron Children's Hospital for numerous years.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Louise and John Lang, her brother Rollin Lang, her brother and sister-in-law Robert and Jean Lang, her brother-in-law and sister-in-law Kenneth and Grace Broggini, and her nephew Lloyd Broggini. Although she is no longer with us, Mary's memory lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her sister-in-law Wanda Lang, nephew John C. (Sharon) Lang, niece Shirley (Jeffrey) Graham, niece Linda Lang, niece Grace (Jerry) Haas, nephew Roger (Lynette) Broggini; great nieces and nephews, Alec (Kristen) Graham, Eryn (Tyson)Polgar, Cameron Frazer, Rogan Frazer, Bradley(Laura) Haas, Andrea Haas, Andrew Broggini, Kayla Broggini; great-great nieces and nephews Teigan Haas, Trevor Haas, Sloane Graham, Ewan Graham and Brigid Graham and special friend Mary Wager, godson David (Cindy) McBee, and cousin Beverly (Vern) Luntsford. Their memories of Mary will be treasured, and her legacy will endure through the lives she touched.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, December 28 from 5pm to 7pm at Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Road, Akron, OH. Interment will be at 9:00am Friday, December 29 at Granger Fairview Cemetery, 1627 Wilbur Road, Medina, OH. Following the internment, a memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at 10:30am at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, where friends and family will gather to honor and remember her with love and gratitude. The service will be followed by a luncheon reception at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Mary's name to St Paul's Episcopal Church Endowment Foundation , 1361 West Market Street, Akron, OH 44313. May Mary's soul find eternal peace, and may her memory be a source of comfort and inspiration to all who knew her.
