Mary Katherine Frye spent her 90 years making life an adventure for everyone she knew and loved.
She is survived by three children, David (Lis Lewis), James (Becky), and Paula Pierson (Frank); seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
She was a woman of intellect, humor and charm who had space at her table for everyone. Her amazing spirit will be missed by many.
She will be inurned with her husband, Paul Frye, in the Memorial Garden of Saint Paul's Episcopal Church, 1361 W. Market St. Akron, Ohio, the church that gave them so many years of comfort. They traveled the world together visiting all continents with joy and wonder. Now they will spend eternity together.
The family will receive visitors at 2:30 on Saturday, Jan. 14 in the parlor at St. Paul's. There will be a service at 3:00 in the chapel followed with a reception in the parlor.
