Mary Gibson, 79, passed away March 6, 2017.
Born in Akron on June 28, 1937 to Nick and Helen Nackes, she was a member of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church. Mary was employed as an audiologist at the Rehab Center, various ENT practices and the Montgomery Institute. She loved her art work, photography, and especially spending time with family.
Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jay H. Gibson; brothers, Manuel and Tony Nackes; step-son, Scott Gibson; she is survived by her step-daughter, Claudia Gibson (Gary Addison); granddaughter, Jennifer (Jim) Reusch; grandsons, Parker and Dylan Gibson; four great-grandchildren; niece, Lynn Carr; nephew Dr. Nick Nackes (Annette); grandnieces, grandnephew, and sister-in-law, Karen Nackes.
Services will be held 10:30 a.m. THURSDAY at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, with Rev. Fr. Jerry Hall and Fr. Andrew Lentz officiating. Interment at Rose Hill Burial Park. Friends may call at the church THURSDAY from 9:30 until the service begins. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 129 S.
