Mary Leidal

Mary Leidal, "Màrinèni", 100, of Copley passed away on January 13, 2015.

Mary was born on March 9, 1914 in Gyorkony, Hungary to the late Pal and Zsuzsanna Gangel. For the last 62 years she lived in the Akron-Copley area and attended and was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church. Mary was preceded in death by her husband Andrew Leidal, five siblings and niece Kathy (Carl) Graf. Màrinèni's kindness and generous spirit touched many lives. She loved sharing her talents in the kitchen with all and took great pleasure in serving others.

She is survived by Sandor and Kathy Bako; grandchildren, Rose Emoke Yahi, Eszti (Tibor) Zsoldos, Erika (Eric) Graf, Zsuzsa (Jozsi) Kocsis, Gyongyi (Sandor) Hegedus; Great-grandchildren, Leila (Steve), Aaron & Sammy Yahi; Jonathan (Beth), David & Maria Zsoldos; Andrew, Adam, Adeline & Annaliese Graf; Joe, Peter & Izabella Kocsis; Ruben, Sandor, Daniel, John, Sami, Zoltan, Alina & Yulia Hegedus; Great-great-granddaughter, Marin Rose; Nieces, Elizabeth Kovacs, Mary Koehler, Hargas Erzsebet, and nephew, Muller Janos; Cousins, Rose Sensenstein, Mary Ann Parcell and Andy Leidal.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, January 17, at the Apostolic Christian Church, 2360 S. Medina Line Rd., Wadsworth. Interment at Rose Hill Burial Park. Friends may call from 4-8 PM on Friday, January 16, at Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 North Miller Rd., Fairlawn, and from 9:30-10:15 AM Saturday at the church.
