Mary Ella Manis

Mary Ella Manis passed away January 17, 2022, with her daughter at her side. She was born in Akron on June 17, 1930.

Mary graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1948 and from Hiram Weekend College with a BA in Business Management in 1982. She worked at City Loan, Aladdin Carpet Cleaning, and NEFCO. She was the Fiscal Administrator for Summit County Health Department, retiring in 2004.

Mary loved Classical Music and cats.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Manis, and her son, David Manis. Mary leaves her daughter, Sandra Manis, and her granddaughter, Lily Manis (Nick).

Per Mary’s wishes, cremation has taken place.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mary’s name are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
