Mary Eloise (Brown/Sutphen) was born on March 1, 1920 to Emery A. and Wilhelmine (Fehr) Brown in Parkersburg, West Virginia. She passed from this life on July 17, 2012.
She had been employed as a church secretary for 23 years. She had also been a charter member of Westminster Presbyterian Church where she served as a Deacon and Elder.
Preceded in death by husband, Richard S. Mild and son, Timothy Sutphen; survivors include son, Dennis (Cathy) Sutphen of Florida; daughter-in-law, Lynn Sutphen of California; step-sons, Richard E. (Lyn) Mild of Hudson and Ronald (Susan) Mild of Doylestown; eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
There will be no calling hours. A time of remembrance will be on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Sumner on Ridgewood Great Hall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1250 West Exchange St., Akron, Ohio 44313 or to Sumner on Ridgewood, Grounds Memorial Fund, 850 Sumner Parkway, Copley, Ohio 44321.
