Mary I. Mitchell, 104, passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at Ohio Living Rockynol.
She was born in Cadiz, Ohio moving to Akron in 1944. She retired from Greyhound Bus Lines after 33 years of service. Mary was a longtime member of Monroe Presbyterian Church and New Covenant Community Church.
Preceded in death by her parents, one brother and two sisters; she is survived by three nephews, three nieces and their families.
Interment was at Cadiz Union Cemetery. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, February 25 in the Myrna and Hugh Porter Memorial Chapel at Ohio Living Rockynol, 1150 W. Market St., Akron, OH 44313. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ohio Living Rockynol Life Care Fund.
