Mary Ruth Neff, 89, born August 7, 1923, passed away January 21, 2013.
Born in Akron, she graduated from North H.S. and lived in Akron all of her life. Mary Ruth was a homemaker, caregiver and a volunteer for many local organizations.
Preceded in death by her husband, Earl, she is survived by sons, Thomas (Claudia), John (Wendy); daughters, Christine (Dave) Bedell, Jeanne (Larry) Weimer, Laura (Terry) Branigan; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and one on the way.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Hilary Catholic Church, 2750 W. Market St., Fairlawn, with Rev. Fr. Frank Basa officiating. Inurnment at Moore's Chapel Cemetery. Friends may call 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., Akron. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to North Akron Kiwanis Club or St. Hilary Catholic Church.
