Mary Kathryn Newton

Mary Kay Newton, 83, passed away November 5, 2009.
Mary worked for the Akron Metropolitan Parks system and later as one of the first four rangers in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. In her retirement, she traveled across the U.S. and Canada and wintered in the Outer Banks.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Guy; her children, Robin of Vero Beach, Florida and Barry of Peninsula, Ohio.
Cremation has taken place. Friends may call 10 to noon on Thursday, November 12th at the Billow FALLS Chapel, 1907 23rd St., Cuyahoga Falls. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cuyahoga Valley National Park Association.
