Mary Panzner

Mary Panzner, 91, of Copley, Ohio passed peacefully while surrounded by her family on 16 February 2023. She was born in Akron, Ohio on 27 November 1931 to parents Vasil Tepus and Endokia "Katie" Tepus (née Mandoaca).  She was a faithful servant of the Lord, devoted mother and grandmother, and plant whisperer.  She was married to her loving husband, Joseph Steve Panzner of Copley, for 59 years. Their life together was spent tending the Panzner family farm before enjoying retirement in southwest Florida. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Joseph, her brothers Pete Tepus (Eulah) and George Tepus, and her sister Anna Smith (Andy). She is survived by her children Janet Mardis (Dr. Charles A.), Dr. Joseph Panzner (Dr. Margaret), Steve Panzner (Barbara), Jerry Panzner (Susan), and brother Charles Tepus (Darlene), as well as ten grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank the caregivers at the Villages of St. Edward for their kind and professional care.

Calling hours will be held FRIDAY, February 24 from 5-7 PM at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., 44333. Funeral service will be held SATURDAY, February 25 at 10 AM at The Presentation of Our Lord Church, 3365 Ridgewood Rd., Fairlawn, OH 44333. Burial will follow at Copley Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Presentation of Our Lord Church.
