Mary Lois Buehl Prinz
Mary Lois Buehl Prinz, 83, went home to her dear Lord Jesus Christ Saturday, March 14, 2009.
Her great-great-grandfather, Pastor Peter Jacob Buehl, founded Zion Lutheran Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul L.; father, Edward Russell Buehl; and mother, Ottilie Dallman Buehl. She is survived by her sons, Jeffrey and Timothy; grandchildren, Jeffrey, Jr., Deborah, and Michael; sister, Betty Usner; and brother, Frederick Buehl.
While much of Mary's life was focused on raising her family and helping her husband, Paul with their family business, Prinz Office Equipment Company, she also found time to volunteer with The Junior League of Akron former Treasurer and Stan Hywet Auxilliary. She sang with the St. Cecelia Choral Society past president and was an avid miniaturist and winner of the Goebel International award.
Calling hours Thursday, March 19, 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m. at the Billow Fairlawn Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd. Funeral Services Friday, March 20, 11 a.m. at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1250 W. Exchange St. Private interment at Chestnut Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Endowment Fund of Akron Women's City Club, 732 W. Exchange St., Akron 44302 where Mary enjoyed many fond times with dear friends.
