Mary Jane Subotin

Mary Jane Subotin (nee Brown) passed away October 1, 2023.  Mary was born on February 26, 1932 to Arthur and Hazel Brown. She was the youngest of 8 children.  Mary graduated from Akron North High, Class of 1950.  Shortly after graduation, Mary met James Subotin and they married.  Mary and Jim raised their 4 children in West Akron, Fairlawn area.  Mary enjoyed life!  She was happiest when surrounded by family, especially at family reunions.

Mary was preceded in death by her father, Arthur, mother, Hazel, husband, James and daughter, Stephanie.  She is survived by sons Joseph, Timothy (Kim) and James along with grandchildren Timothy J., Benjamin and Adam.

Thanks to all the staff at the Inn at CoalRidge, for their care, compassion and love.

Private family services were held.
