Mary Louise Taucher, or Lou to all that knew her, died suddenly and unexpectedly at her home on Friday March 4th in spite of her unflappable resolve to stay positive in fighting her illness, and her perseverance during her recovery. She had surpassed even her doctors' expectations.
Lou was a graduate of Revere High School and attended The Ohio State University. She was a lifelong resident of Richfield and her passion for cooking and baking led to a career in the food industry. She spent the last (14) years brightening the days of her co-workers at Compass Group and her many friends at Charles Schwab in Richfield.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Jean Taucher and Ken Taucher; grandparents, Tom and Ida Murphy and John and Mary Taucher. She is survived by Brian Bowers; her sisters, Sandy Brubaker (Bill Ball) and Kim (Jeff) Lunieski; her brother, Tom (Lisa) Taucher; and her beloved nephews, Gabe and Josh to whom she will always be "Auntie Ooh". She is also survived by aunts, Joann Lincks, Ginger Kemmerling & Judy Taucher-Lewis; many cousins and many other extended family members including Teresa Olivas.
Viewing hours will be at the Billow Fairlawn Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday March 10th with a funeral service at 11:00 am on Friday March 11th, at the funeral home. (Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel)
